You may not have chosen this journey, but you can choose how you walk it.— Darin Sargent
My friend, if you’re raising a child with a disability, walking alongside someone who is, or navigating one yourself, I don’t have to tell you what the appointments, the therapies, the school meetings, and the sleepless nights of wondering “why” have cost you. You already know.
I was born missing part of my left arm. I know what it is to grow up different, and I’ve spent decades since watching parents and caregivers carry a weight most people never see: the grief that doesn’t get a name, the guilt that sneaks in uninvited, the marriage that quietly strains under the load. I also know that this journey, as hard as it is, was never meant to be carried alone, and it was never a mistake.
This coaching isn’t a program I built from a textbook. It’s built from my own story, and from every family I’ve had the honor of walking with since. I’d count it an honor to walk it with you too.
Darin SargentCoach & Author
You’re a parent or caregiver of a child or loved one with a disability or diagnosis, and you want to move beyond simply surviving appointments, therapies, school meetings, and medical decisions.
You’re ready to make space for your own emotional and spiritual well-being, and to strengthen your marriage and family relationships along the way.
You want to take intentional steps toward a future shaped by clarity, connection, hope, and purpose, and not only by the diagnosis.
Every coaching journey walks through the same four movements, at the pace that’s right for your family.
We begin with your story: what changed, what hurt, and what you’re still trying to understand.
We confront the “why” questions and begin releasing the need to assign blame.
We explore what this journey has done to you: your relationships, identity, and faith.
We identify practical next steps for your child, your family, and your future.
Same four movements. Same coach. Walk them one-on-one with Darin, or alongside a small circle of parents who understand.

A focused season, start to finish
Deeper work, room to grow into it
If, after our first session, you don’t feel genuinely heard, understood, and confident that this is a safe place for your story, that session is on me. No charge. No pressure. No questions asked.
Coaching is a faith-centered, forward-focused partnership. It is not therapy, counseling, or medical care, and it’s designed to work alongside the medical, therapeutic, and counseling support your family relies on.
Walk the four movements with a small group of parents who understand, because they’re living it too.
From shock and uncertainty toward identity and acceptance
Sessions 1–3From guilt and blame toward freedom and grace
Sessions 4–6From resisting what is hard toward discovering strength within it
Sessions 7–9From surviving the story toward building what comes next
Sessions 10–12Some of the deepest healing happens when you realize you’re not the only one. The Founding Circle brings together 6 to 8 families for six months of guided coaching on Zoom. Every other week, we’ll walk through the same four movements as my one-on-one coaching, together.
This is the first circle, and I’m keeping it small on purpose. Founding families get a lower price for the full six months. In return, I’ll ask for your honest feedback as we shape the circles that follow.
Each person shares one word for the past two weeks.
A story, a passage of Scripture, and one key idea from the movement we’re in.
Coaching questions, small breakouts with your spouse or a partner, and one volunteer coached briefly.
One small step to try before we meet again, then we close in prayer.
Between sessions: one short email with a reflection question and a 3 to 5 minute video from me. No homework beyond the practice. You’ll also have a private online space for your circle with the schedule, session notes, and handouts.
One price per family. Billing ends automatically after your sixth payment.
Founding families agree to attend consistently, give honest feedback, and consider sharing a short testimonial. Future circles will be $59 a month.
Seats are limited to 6 to 8 families. Applications close when the circle is full.

Yes, please do. Couples attend together for one price per family.
A weekday evening, Central time, every other week starting January 2027. I’ll confirm the exact night with the group before the first session.
Life with a child who needs extra care is unpredictable. Every session’s notes and practice are posted in your circle’s private space, so you can catch up before we meet again.
No. Anyone can pass at any time. What’s shared in the circle stays in the circle.
No. It’s faith-centered coaching that works alongside the medical, therapy, and counseling support your family already relies on. If you ever need more than the group can offer, I’ll help you find the right next step.
$39 a month, charged automatically for six months. After the sixth payment, billing stops on its own.
The group is small, and a good fit matters for everyone in it. The short call makes sure the circle is the right place for your family.
